Nerys Hughes played Megan Roberts in this drama called The District Nurse. She was always on a bike riding around Wales in the 1920's and 30's. Fixing the ills and wrongs of her community was Megan's calling. Things were tough and doctors were expensive so in comes the district nurse with sensible advice and woollen stockings!
