The Ink Spots were an African American quartet, who had a hit 'Do I Worry' in 1940, which played in a Bold 2 in 1 commercial in 2005 (of course, this was a UK commercial, and in colour), where the song was sixty-five years old. All four members were black but only three of them (Herb Kenny, Bill Bowen and Huey Long) had moustaches; the only exception was Bill Kenny, who was the only clean shaven member. Bill Kenny (youngest) born Friday June 12 1914 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Thursday March 23 1978 (age 63) Cause of death: respiratory illness Herb Kenny same DOB as Bill Kenny, as they were non-identical twin brothers (and, of course, they were *blood* brothers, not brothers-*in-law*; they certainly weren't *half* brothers *either*). More so, Herb was born *before* Bill, making Bill the youngest member. Date of death: Saturday July 11 1992 (age 78). He too was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, if he and Bill were twins. Cause of death: cancer (merely from natural causes) Bill Bowen DOB: Sunday January 3 1909 (place of birth currently unknown, but definitely somewhere in America) Date of death: Monday September 27 1982 (age 73) (cause of death currently unknown, but more likely nothing other than merely natural causes) Huey Long (oldest) DOB: Monday April 25 1904 in Winnfield, Louisiana died Wednesday June 10 2009 (age 105) [yes, he lived that long!] (pun unintended) Cause of death: natural causes All images of the members are in black and white, as there was no colour photography invented when they had their hits. They formed when racism wasn't an issue, as bands with all black members *nowadays* couldn't have names like 'The Ink Spots'.
