The Macc lads were a typically laddish band from Macclesfield and had a bad reputation for sexist and foul mouthed lyrics but were good for a laugh.
Unfortunately their reptution had them banned from every venue in the country so they had to use the back of a lorry to play their gigs!
They are sometimes descripbed as the musical equivalent of a VIZ comic. Their song lyrics cover subjects such as: beer, sex, chips, football, fighting, and bodily functions.
