Felix Unger (played by Tony Randall) is kicked out by his wife and ends up on the doorstep of his old friend and fellow divorcee Oscar Madison (Jack Klugman).

The two men lead very different lives and conflicts soon arise between the pair.

Felix ends up staying longer than the temporary respite he initially planned and before long the pair are driving each other crazy.

    The TV series wasn't a patch on the film, which was a comedy classic

    I loved this show, but I thought it was 1960s. Anyway I loved the theme tune and the clash of characters. Based on the original film with Walter Matthau, I far preferred the 1/2 hour TV series with the guy that played Quincy (whatever he is called).
