This was a series with a gang of kids (The Red Hand Gang) who played detectives after school - it was a bit like Scooby Doo but with real people. Frankie was the name of the leader I think. They always got their guy.

    I remember the atupid "la la la, la la la, la la la la la la la" theme tune and that rubbish song one of them always played on that funny shaped flute thing. The only episode I remember is the one with the football star in a wheelchair with his face bandaged who was switched for an imposter and the kids noticed his missing NFL ring. Summer holiday viewing, then on to Why Don't You.
