The Streets of San Fransico ran for 5 years from 1972 to 1977 and starred Karl Marden and Michael Douglas, at the early stage of his acting career.
The combination of these two actors worked well and the show was popular across the Atlantic and in the UK claiming prime-time slots in the viewing schedules. The Streets of San Francisco had plenty of action and Californian scenery.
I remember watching the antics of the young Michael Douglas and hoping we would see more of him once the programme was finished. I think we can safely say that Michael Douglas has had a great follow-up career.
