The Tamperer were one of many Euro dance acts of the 90s that were here one minute and gone the next (remember Gala, Eiffel 65, Corona and Ann Lee?). The Tamperer scored a massive hit in the later part of the decade with 'Feel It', which was based on The Jacksons' 'Can You Feel It', and contained the immortal line "what's she gonna look like with a chimney on her?"!
The follow-up, which had the rather long-winded title of 'If You Buy This Record Your Life Will Be Better', borrowed quite heavily from Madonna's 'Material Girl'.
Then came 'Hammer To The Heart', another track to use strong hints of an earlier hit song (this time Abba's 'Gimme Gimme Gimme'), and that was just about all we heard from The Tamperer.
