The Tomorrow People was an innovative and intellectually stimulating programme for children and was shown from 1973 to 1979. The show was a drama series which based itself on the premise that humans were evolving and children everywhere were developing extrasensory perception.

I was a great fan of this program and just reading about it brought memories of the intensity with which I was engaged with the programme as a child!

    I loved this programme. They used to teleport themselves to other places, but they called it 'jaunting'. Mike Holloway from the band Flintlock was in the programme. It was a really exciting programme.

    Vaguely remember this show, not least for the music and opening credit graphics. Pity they don't have these shows on DVD: a very challenging and thought-provoking sf program for children, and adults.

    I remember being a member of the Tomorrow People Fan club I even had signed photo's of Nicholas Young,possibly still have somewhere!

    One of my favourites too. I remember a guy from Flintlock (pop group) was one of them lol.

    This was one of my favourite programmes on tv as a child. I even asked Santa for a tomorrow people belt for Xmas so I could travel with them when i watched it. Excellent stuff!

    I remember this program it was my favourite. A group of teenagers would fight the 'badies'.. They wore these watches to communicate with eachother, and could travel to different places through a sort of misty circle. The main girl wore a head band type thing across her forehead and would zap things with it. I'd love to watch this again!!

    Does anyone remember this programme. It was ITV, not sure of the day ?monday tea-time. about four children who would time travel. I can remember waiting all week to see the next episode. did it always involve them going though a metal link fence to travel time? any memories would be fab!
