Described as 'The picture paper especially for little girls', 'Twinkle' ran from 1968 to 1999 and was published by D.C Thompson & Co. according to wikipedia.
Twinkle was a comic for little girls and I remember it had a cut out picture of a doll and then every week (I think) there would be a new outfit to cut out and you could dress your doll with it. Oh to be 5 again! I used to read this when I was 5. The 2 comic strip style stories I remember are Sally of Sunshine Street and The Dolls Hospital. It DID have a cut out doll and cut out paper clothes that had fold over tabs that hooked over the doll. I loved it!
