Along with Lily of the Valley, Panache and Reverie, Intrigue was one of many Yardley perfumes that even now, one whiff, and memories of your teenage years are guaranteed to come flooding back. It was around in the late-70s-early-80s, and has since been discontinued. The box it came in was a burgundy colour with gold lettering on the front and the bottle itself was opaque glass. Occasionally bottles of Intrigue pop up on eBay for around £25. Oh yes, the fragrance? A gorgeous floral scent - perfect for a first date when you want to ramp up your own "Intrigue" factor.
