  • Burton's Potato Puffs
Regretfully Burtons have no plans to resume production of Potato Puffs (and their cousin Chip Straws). The closest I have got to them is Roysters Ready Salted, which for some reason is no longer produced. Roysters T-Bone Steak has the texture but not the taste.
  • Sherbet Fountains
I concur that the liquorice was hollow (after biting off the ends). I used to empty the sherbert into a glass of water and drink it through the liquorice straw.
  • Sherbet Dip-Dab
I seem to remember that the lolly was made out of toffee; probably about the size and thickness of a £1 coin
  • Nesquick
As a small boy n the 60s, whenever we went on holiday (usually to a seaside caravan) my parents would buy a tin of Nesquik as a treat. Every evening after returning from an evening out I would have a Nesquik made with warm milk before going to bed. I can still taste it now in my memory, and also the smell of the calor gas lamps of the caravans.
