Sad day indeedy, when Abbey Crunch went n' disappeared :'( I've tried all kinds of "similar" biscuits over the past (many) years, and none have come close ...... until now ;-) While on holiday, I'd nipped into a discount store and spotted some Hill Oaties. Unless I'm mistaken .... they tasted just about, almost exactly, if not precisely like Abbey Crunch. Maybe a percentage or two off .... but pretty, pretty close as makes no difference. Finally found them again in a Yum-Yum shop today, at 3 packs for a quid. Baaagain. Various discount stores sell Hill (not Hills) biscuits, so it's a bit hit n' miss whether they have the Oaties in, but worth the hunt in my opinion.
