- Huckleberry's Burger Bar
I worked at the crawley branch for 18 months or so, in the early 80's... Met some good people and a girlfriend (ex now). I preffered working the back line (cooking and wot not) although working the front line, with those electronic computer operated tills was fun. I used to be quite good at cutting the fish into portions (remembering the chain mail glove) and operating the some what dangerous pressure frier for the excellent chicken. My fav' burger was the Huckleburger, big and succulent, second was the Double Decker, very nice too. Wow what memories of those days, fantastic. Nothing today can match their quality... I also worked for Wimpy, when Huck's changed, but they were rubbish, so I left.
