- Club Biscuits
Back in the sixties there was a Club, which had a red wrapper with the Queen of Clubs ( not hearts as mentioned in another post - that is why is was called a Club biscuit ) The club Golf was covered in plain chocolate, green / white wrapper with a picture of a golf ball. This was followed by a Domino - milk chocolate with raisins through the biscuit- Purple and white wrapper. Obviously the marketing department of the day decided to consolidate to Club Milk, Club Plain and Club Fruit-They added Club Orange ( with orange chocolate ) I think. Tool away all the interest - God save us from marketing departments. Ian Marshall 10 March 2011
