He was not as old as you think in Dads Army, apparently being in his mod 40's and had to have a lot of make up to portray him as an old man. - Spangles
Can anyone remember some Spangles that only came in spearmint and peppermint flavour that were in a longer tube and shaped like Lockets (the cough sweets). Remember them in only a couple of shops in about 1978.
