Just a normal chap really but wishing i could turn the clock back to a time when life was a loy simpler as a kid. Back in the late 60's & 70's...those were the days and they'll never come again!

Romper Room Angie B, you are probably the same age as me then! I might have been watching you, might have even fancied you!
Hats off to you for becoming a primary school teacher, it's probably one of the most rewarding jobs in the world "moulding people".
Anyone buying an episode should get the 1974 one as the 1972 one has about the last third missing. One thing that i saw and remembered VERY fondly was the cildren dancing round in a circle, holding hands and taking turns to say...
"Please Mr. Music, will you play".
Isn't it a shame you can't roll the clock back and relive the happiest days of your life!
Romper Room I wasn't ever on romper room but remember watching this as a very young child of between 2 and 4. I'm 42 now and it's my oldest memory so will always hold a special place in my heart. I saw a picture of Miss Rosalyn on another site (after some searching) and the memories came flooding back. To be honest i balled my eyes out for some reason.
I have a small son of 18 months old and he makes me realise just how nice life was as a child. What i wouldn't give to be his age again (as long as it finished up with him as my son again!)
I contacted ITV anglia in Norwich and a helpful man called Brian searched the archives to tell me that only 3 episodes of romper room remain, all the rest of the reels having been recycled (some things should be left alone!). Two episodes with Miss Rosalyn from 1972 and 1974. They are £99 each for a copy and i'm ordering both.
Can't explain the feeling but watching romper room again after so long is going to be a once in a lifetime experience. I'll let my son see it and just hope he likes it too but doesn't get hooked expecting more episodes to follow!!
