I bought this toffee in 1936. I lived in Bulawayo at that time. The slab cost me one penny, a fortune for me in those days. The shop from where I bought my treat was a shabby wooden construction, owned by a Chinese person. How he ever landed up in Bulawayo in the 1930, is an interesting thought.
