I used to eat loads of Potato Puffs in the early 60s when I was at school. I have dreamt of them ever since. They were called Walter's Potato Puffs and made in Redditch, Stockport, Cheshire. It seems they must have been taken over by Burton's after that. I wrote to Burton's and they have no intention of bringing them back. So I asked for the recipe and they denied it. Are there any great cooks out there who could hazard a guess as to how they were made? I think they have some kind of flour in them. Maybe potatoes and flour or maybe they were made out of potato flour.
