I worked for alpine soft drinks in the late 80's at there penshaw depot just outside of sunderland city our rounds covered from easington up to bylth and out as far as crook co durham i was a van lad at the time my mates were doing yts for £25 week as van lad i was getting £60-70 week it was good job in the summer but in the winter it was the worst in the world our boss was gordon backhouse.
