My Uncle peter Connerty and his business partner Ben Draper owned a company that produced a product called Velvetex which was the used on Action Man as hair, They had a contract with Palitoy to produce different colour hair styles and my two cousins and myself were asked if they could use our Action Men as prototype models in 1969.
