This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Fairy Winkles were a bit like Polly Pocket or Charmkins but they were fairies instead, with twinkly wings that were meant to give them special powers! They had the same compact homes, but they were a bit random (a shell and an icecream for example). The bigger ones were called Wee Winkles. They were roduced by Kenner between 1993-5.

    They were random, you couldn't really build a village of them or anything. I had a Fairy Winkle bureau, it had 2 Fairy Winkles and two Wee Winkles. I quite liked it except the big fairies were posed in set positions which kind of killed play stone dead! Like, this one was kneeling halfway up the stairs, she didn't look right anywhere else you put her.

    I remember my fairy winkles and been looking all over for them for awhile now. I iss all my old toys, and now im doing whatever I can to get most of my precious memories back from childhood and I'M 22!!!

    i was kinda cleaning my room out, and i found some of my old fairy winkles...wow, it used to be one of my favorite toys when i was little(i'm 17 now) but i have the, i guess jewlery bow with the little bath thing inside. but i have no idea where the perfume bottle is....but i also used to have the purple fame akso, but have no idea where that is either....but, i still do have 3 of my fairies... :D

    I have the ones that come in a pink shell. I always thought they were the best things ever. way better then polly pocket because they were fairys. :)

    l bought my daughter quite a few of the fairy winkles and she took one to school and it was stolen out of her bag when she was in prep. l am trying to find (18 years later) the white shell fairy winkles to buy for her 18th as she always talks about it being stolen when she was in prep and we still have all the others after all this time l can not part with them , the tea pot being my favourite

    my best friend gave me one of her fairy winkle's when i was 9.It was my first one and the day i got it i carried it in my pocket everywhere i went. Eventually i bought more and family members bought them for me for my birthday. I still have most of the fairies but i don't have their homes anymore, and i still have the one my best friend gave me.

    I was around about 7 or 8 when I got my first Fairy Winkles, I am nearly seventeen now. I used to play with them in my garden (a bigger one with a purple curl and a little one with a flower hat in a purple frame) and inevitably I lost them. I have just found them for sale on a website, and I really really want to buy them!

    I'm now 15, But when I was 3 or 4 I got my first fairy Winkles. I had the perfume bottle and the Jewlery box. I've been searching to find them, but I can only find the vintage ones. I still have the Jewlery box and one little fairy. I keep them in a special place in my room.
