I worked in woolworths back in the early 60s at the Worthing store, they used to have a cafe in the store. I worked on the soap counter and then on the whippy icecream counter. We used to go up and sit on the roof during the summer months in our lunch break. In the early 70s I got chucked out of the store, I was told my silver cross pram was too big to be in the store and I must leave it outside!!! yea right as if!!!
