Embroidered Denim Jackets

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

During the 1980s we would embroider the names of our favourite bands in our denim jackets. Those with the most elaborate designs were those with the highest status. Lads at school would pinch the embroidery silks from sewing classes to do their jackets!!
