Horlicks Tablets We used to be able to get them instead of sweets, which were rationed, during Ww2. The tablets were sold in tins, cream coloured with blue print. If we couldn’t get these, we bought licquorish root. Or there was lemonade powder, which was sour, and fizzy, when you licked it off your finger.
Horlicks Tablets I remember the Spanish city... figure of eight, house of horrors, the ballroom (with beauty queen contests),,
Virol I remember it as a food supplement during ww2. My sister and I were daily given a large spoonful. it was thick, browned sticky. I loved it. It was like cod liver oil and malt, I think.
