The Adventures of Sir Lancelot

I wasn't born until 1958 but I definitely watched this as a child in the early 60s, although all the information I can find about it says it showed in the UK up to 1959. Can anyone else remember it? It starred William Russell who later showed up as Ted Sullivan in Coronation Street! It was TV's usual sanitised version on British History, where all the characters spoke like the queen, but as a kid I loved it!
