This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Made by Tonka, Cupcake Dolls were dolls the size of MoonDreamers with thick rubbery plastic skirts instead of legs.

The trick was that you could turn the skirts inside out (so the doll was inside the skirt), and they would turn into cup-cakes. Their hats formed the icing and some of the Cupcake Dolls were scented if you were lucky!

    I remember I had a puzzle with two of the cupcake dolls that I would do every weekend with my grandmother. I wish I still had it but someone threw it away :(

    I dont remember where I saw a Cupcake doll. I just remember seeing one somewhere one time. I think the one I saw was yellow, or mint green.I didn,t own it though,

    I remember having really bad tonsilitis, i was about 5 or 6 and i think it was just after christmas, someone gave me a yellow one i think it smelt like bananas, but anyway i opened it and threw up everywhere, i think it got thrown away because the smell reminded me of being sick!

    me and my sister both got a cupcake doll for christmas and they were the coolest! I got a mint green coloured one with marshmallows on her hat and my sister got a chocolate one with a pink skirt and hat. Good times! oh and i remember we got a record with them (this shows how long ago it was) that had the 'cupcake doll' song on it, and it came with stickers too! wooo
