Like sugar mice and sugar pigs, you could buy sugar dummies (I.e.pacifiers) in my local sweetshop in the 60s. They were huge, presumably made of pure sugar and had a bit of ribbon attached. They made your whole face sticky! I cant think of anything worse for the waistline or the teeth. Ah, those heady days when our parents had no idea about what was good or bad for us!
